FAQs

• What is thrifting?

Thrifting is the practice of purchasing items (clothes, accessories, furniture, books, electronics, and so on) from a secondhand store, antique show, flea market, or yard sale. Not only can thrifting save money, but it also allows you to explore new things because you never know what treasures you might find.

Do you offer a current fashion trend in your thrift shop?

Istilonova aims to fulfill the expectations of our customers, so we offer a wide range of fashion trends. As a result, you can expect to find a fascinating combination of various styles, such as casual, vintage, and so on. Our business ensured that we stayed on top of the latest trends. Istilonova also provides opportunity for innovative, sustainable, personalized, and one-of-a-kind products that are difficult to come by when purchasing new clothing.

• What are the benefits of purchasing thrift clothes?

There are various advantages to thrift shopping and purchasing secondhand items rather than new. You are not only saving money, but you are also helping to conserve the environment. Keeping garments out of the garbage is similar to donating and buying used items.

• Is your shop safe to thrift during covid-19 pandemic?

Many stores, organizations, and drop-off locations are reopening, and social distancing policies will be in effect. Customers should keep their distance from other consumers while thrifting at Istilonova, avoid handling anything they do not intend to purchase, refrain from touching their faces, wash their hands as soon as they leave, and just try to enjoy their time there.

• How do I properly wash clothes from thrift shops?

To ensure that everything we sell is clean and safe, we put everything through a range of laundry procedures. However, for those customers who want to learn how to correctly handle secondhand clothing, here are some basic procedures to follow:
1. Wash the garments immediately, using recommended settings and detergent.
2. Recycle any bags or boxes they came along with.
3. Once the wash is complete, put items in the dryer right way.
4. If possible, use the recommended dryer settings as heat helps kill germs.

• How can I donate clothing to a thrift store?

Most thrift stores have designated donation locations where you can drop off your bagged items. You can send us your worn clothes by writing messages through our social media pages or visiting our branch in person. Remember that the profits from these donations will go to charity supported by our organization.
